Who is Merry Riana? She is a entrepreneur who get success in the young age. She is a Speaker, Trainer and She is A Woman Motivator Number 1 in Asia. She has a strong-minded and She is a author too. She writes a book which the title is “Mimpi Sejuta Dolar”. The book will be showed in the movie soon. This book tell us about a poor young woman who fight her dream to get success and fight to change her life with hard work. She was so concern because She just had a little bit money to survive from so many pressures until her dream comes true and She can be a milionare on the young age.

In 1998 Indonesia got a tragedy Moneter Crisis and Turbulence. Therefore, Merry Riana canceled her plan to continue studied in Trisakti University, Indonesia. Then She decided to study in Singapore in order to avoid the problem which will be struggle against her school.

Merry Riana comes from  Tionghoa’s family. She doesn’t from a rich family. More over, to continue her studied, She got scholarship from the government of Singapore around $ 40.000 and She had to payed back after She passed and worked.

This fund which She got from the government of Singapore it’s very little bit. She just had $10 (Rp 70.000)in her pocket and She had to manage it well for a week. This situation not only made She had to thought too deep to completed her staples, but also She must to be thrift. In order to completed her daily staples, She ate instant noodle in every morning, ate two slice of breads without jam for lunch and then came to the seminary for getting free dinner. She was very shame because just ate two slice of bread without jam, so she went to the loo while her friends were eating delicious food. How pity She was! She had to work hard to got food.  

One day, she was so hungry but She didn’t enough money to buy some foods, so She bought a fried rice with had additional just season of fried rice and soya in order to She could get cheap price. Wow I can’t imagine that we eat just with that.  

She thought to worked part time in order to She could got additional income to solve her daily staples. Afterward, She worked as a servant of banquet in hotel, as a Florist and distributed a leaflet in the way. She worked 14 hour for a day. She stood up nearby MRT station and bus station to offer insurance.  Instead She worked until late at night and went home in the early morning. Her income didn’t certain so She must to be thrift to manage her daily staples.

She had a big ambition to changed her life. She didn’t want if her life didn’t get improvement and She had a spirit to made her parents proud of her. According to her opinion that “a dream without action means nothing”. She believes that when there’s a will, there’s a way and god will be change her life. So She took action for making her dream came true. She tried to made business such as manufactured of scription, MLM business and bond business. However, all of her business was fail. This problem didn’t make her hope was lose. She tried to business again, but the business was very different. She has sold product of financial and banking such as insurance, credit card,deposit and so on.

Little by little, She got achievement. Her business got increase and improvement. She could be a Financial Consultant now. She could get income $ 1.000.000. The result which is She gets equal with her efforts. She get a successful on the young age. Heard that information which Merry Riana got $1.000.000 on the young age, reporters looked for her to report his story and immediately Merry Riana well-known as a woman entrepreneur who get success on the young age and She is be a motivator for sharing her strategy and the way to get success in order to everybody will imitate her spirit to catch a better future.

Now, Merry Riana have a dream for giving positive effect to other people in Asia, especially in Indonesia. She wrote her life story until she gets a successful in the form of book and She publishes to other people. That book which has title “Mimpi Sejuta Dollar” sold out and get national best seller just in one month. That book will be taken for film.

Nevertheless , from this story we can catch the point to make our ambition come true:

1.   Always pray to god and believe that god will be help us.

2.   Take a chance : it’s a scientific fact that you’ll regret things you didn’t do, so take a chance

3.   Be brave         : if you think too long, you’ll no act on your thoughts. Just do it!

4.   Action             : dreams without action means nothing

5.   Be confident        : believe with yourself and your ability. Sure that you can do it!

6.   Believe that when there’s a will, there’s way
